Ecocoast is excited to announce that it will be accepting Cryptocurrency as the preferred payment method for all its clients. Starting this month, Ecocoast will accept Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin with the view to remove all traditional payment methods (cheques or bank transfers) by the end of the year.

“The move to accept Cryptocurrency is another bold move in line with our core purpose – pioneering,” says Lachlan Jackson, Co-Founder and Managing Director at Ecocoast. “This is yet another example of Ecocoast taking the lead in adopting groundbreaking technologies to power innovation. We’re thrilled to be the first in the marine industry worldwide to offer this kind of payment method.”

“The team is also busy working on our own cryptocurrency – Ecocoin – specifically designed for transactions and businesses that support the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With these key changes, we will be well on our way to achieving our BHAG of being 100% blockchain-enabled by 2025,” adds Jackson.
