ECOCOAST TO PARTICIPATE AT HYDRO 2022

Ecocoast will be participating at the HYDRO 2022 conference and exhibition in Strasbourg, France, from April 25 – 27, 2022.

April 25 to 27, 2022, will see HYDRO 2022 taking place in the scenic city of Strasbourg, in the Grand Est region of France, marking the first time the conference has been held as a physical event since the COVID-19 pandemic.

The three-day conference and exhibition will be held at the Palais de la Musique et des Congrès, with thousands of representatives from all over the world taking part in technical sessions and exhibitions, along with study tours, workshops and a full social and cultural programme for both attendees and their accompanying partners.

Organised by Aqua~Media International Ltd, the publisher of The International Journal on Hydropower and Dams, HYDRO 2022 will feature some of the leading consultants, contractors, equipment suppliers, professional associations, and a multitude of other hydro specialists. The exhibition, which will run concurrently with the conference, will also showcase and demonstrate several of the latest technologies and systems related to the industry.

Strasbourg is an ideal location for an event that is so heavily focused on water – the city is located on the west bank of the Rhine River – a major source of hydropower in Europe – and is located close to the borders of Germany and Switzerland, making it an easy access point for attendees. Furthermore, the Grand Est region (formerly known as Alsace) is possibly the heart of Europe’s hydropower ambitions.

Given the excitement around the event this year, we are delighted to announce that Ecocoast representatives will be taking part as both an exhibitor and conference speakers. Filip Stefanovic, Regional General Manager at Bolina; Michael Sims, Sales Engineer at Bolina; and Gregory Duquennois, Agent for Belgium and the Netherlands, will be present across all three days of the event, exhibiting at Stand #12.

In addition, Michael will be presenting a paper focused on ‘Effective Methods for Controlling Water Borne Debris’, during which he will discuss the work Bolina has carried over many years to protect structures and facilities around the world, often in treacherous conditions.

We look forward to meeting all attendees and participants at HYDRO 2022 this year, and hope that we can contribute towards making it a successful event.
