Ecobarrier Silt Curtain, Type III, for nearshore use

Gabon, a country in Africa bordering the Atlantic Ocean at the Equator, is at a turning point. A central pillar of the government’s vision for the future of Gabon is becoming an emerging-diversified economy by 2025.

For that purpose, a new General Cargo Terminal was being constructed at Owendo, a port city in Gabon. Our client’s mandate was to protect the marine environment while construction activities were carried out.

We installed 380 meters of Silt Curtain Type III, designed for rougher waters and stronger currents due to its increased strength and buoyancy.
