Since 2014, Ecocoast Events has managed the complete marine works for major New Year’s Eve fireworks across multiple prestigious UAE locations, including Downtown Dubai, Atlantis The Palm, Corniche Abu Dhabi and Al Majaz Waterfront in Sharjah.
We’re proud to have contributed to some of the world’s most ambitious celebrations. One of the standout moments was our involvement in Ras Al Khaimah’s 2019 New Year’s Eve fireworks. It achieved two Guinness World Records. One for the Longest Chain of Fireworks (spanning over 4.6 km) and one for the Longest Straight-Line Fireworks Display (stretching 13.002 km).
This record-breaking spectacle required over 250 floating platforms to be precisely positioned along the coastline. The robust and stable pontoons designed and installed by Ecocoast Events provided the foundation for this extraordinary show, proving our capability to deliver flawless, large-scale marine infrastructure under tight deadlines.
Our portfolio spans grand-scale national celebrations to boutique waterfront activations for luxury brands, hospitality and entertainment venues:
Concerts and entertainment: Providing floating stages for high-profile concerts, including Dua Lipa and Enrique Iglesias at The Pointe. “The support from the team was great,” said a representative from Flash Entertainment (now Ethara).
Fashion and luxury: Supporting unique activations for a Chanel fashion event, Miami Vibes and Santos de Cartier at Dubai Mall.
Sporting spectacles: Infrastructure for events like the World Parachuting Championship, Red Bull Air Race World Championship and Red Bull Flugtag events.
Commercial and lifestyle: Solutions for events such as Splash Yas Marina, Mother of the Nation (MOTN) events in Abu Dhabi, and popular Barasti open water parties.
Most recently, we completed our first turnkey marine event project in Saudi Arabia, delivering event infrastructure for the grand opening of Sindalah Island. It is a luxury seahorse-shaped destination in NEOM. This marked a new chapter for Ecocoast’s regional expansion in marine event solutions.
